Is the project due on May 3rd, or do we have to present as well as turn it on the final meeting day?
and what if I can't make it to the final meet. I do not think dr will release me to drive by that date. I am in a sling for sixweeks...a big sling!
okay my husband said he would drive me in to present my project if I could present and leave fairly quickly. is that okay Dr. Robin? It takes me about 2 hours to get there and 2 to get home so I should be worn out after travel times.
Final projects will be presented in our last (required) face-to-face class meeting on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
You may submit your final project and final project report then, or if you would like to make any changes based on feedback received at the May 9 class, you may email me final versions by the end of the day on Sunday, May 10th.
Lynda,
I appreciate your willingness to come to the last class meeting to present your work. If you're feeling up to it, you can make your presentation first and then leave when you're done.
Remember that we decided that we will meet from 9:30am - 12:300 pm on Saturday, May 9th and food will be served.
Not a problem Dr. Robin. I am starting to feel the walls closing in on me at home anyway. This has been an enjoyable class. Thanks.
Lynda
Did we ever do a sign up sheet to bring food to our last F2F meeting? My brain is mush right now because we just finished our clinical sessions with our students. The senior class this year was very challenging (that's the nicest way I can describe them)!!!
Kieler will bring sausage kolaches.
Dr. Robin,
Would you consider extending the deadline to 16 May? I'm hoping to finish all 3 final projects by next Saturday, 09 May. If I don't get hammered by heart/liver calls this week, I should be able to finish these 2 digital storytelling projects by this 09 May. If not, I may need an extra week to work on it.
There has been a question regarding when final projects and reports are due. Generally, the university's policy is that grades for a course should be submitted 48 hours after the final class meeting. Since we will be having our last class on Saturday, May 9, I listed Sunday May 10 (which goes until midnight) as the due date for all course work and projects, so that grades could be submitted by the end of the day on Monday, May 11--which is 48 hours after our last class meeting.
If you feel you may not be able to complete all assignments by the May 11 deadline, please email me and we can discuss available options.
I am kind of worried about my final project I have it all completed but I am worried it does not fit with website.
Christina,
Remember that the title of the website is "Educational Uses of Digital Storytelling". I guess if your project was approved by Dr. Robin then it fits but for your clarity ask yourself if your project reflects, supports, or enhances a site that strives to include a spectrum of resources/ideas/ tools to support the title of the site.
That is my best attempt at helping you feel confident. Hope it helped in some small way.
