Our next face-to-face class will be held this coming Saturday, April 18, 2009. We will meet in Room 328 in the CITE Lab at UH from 9:00am until 12:00 noon.

What exactly will we be discussing this weekend. I have surgery coming up on the 22nd and then will be dopey....more than usual and in a sling. I am taking 12 graduate hours currently and working full time so I am trying to decide if my time is better served at home working on projects to get them done before surgery or spending a day on the road and coming in to U of H.
I don't mean to minimize the importance of the meet but I am in a situation that requires me to super budget my time.

Everyone should remember that except for the first meeting on January 17 and the last meeting on May 9, all of the rest of the Saturday sessions are optional.
My plan for this coming Saturday is to discuss:
-work done so far
-the status of changes to the website
-the final semester projects
-and any other questions or comments on any other topics.
Of course, if the rest of the students would rather not have a face-to-face session this Saturday, please let me know so I won't be the only one there. :-)
PS. I hope your surgery goes well.
I knew the meeting was optional....but it is also my feeling that optional is important. However, in light of all that is going on with me, I think I will not be at the meeting and instead will be working to finish my project and some other research projects I have going. I am sure the surgery will be fine.... painful...but fine..... I just hate being incapacitated.... Thanks for the wishes.
Tatiana is going to try and make it if she can get someone to see her patients.
Margo will not be able to attend because she is attending her cousin's wedding.
I also will not be at this week's meeting my son has a football game in the morning, but depending when it is over I might be able to make the meeting before 12

Hello Everyone,
I plan to be in class tomorrow morning around 9:00am. Hopefully, the rain will not be too bad until later in the day.
